The European Union provides support for the
Modernisation andEnergy Saving in 3 kindergartens in RustaviCity
On May 18, 2015, the Sustainable Development and Policy(SDAP) Center and the Rustavi City Municipality organized a kick-off meeting of „Retrofitting 3 kindergartens in Rustavi City in order to achieve high energy efficiency standards and greenhouse emission reduction” project.
The project aims at rehabilitation of 3 kindergarten buildings in Rustavi, implementation of modern energy efficient measures and installation of renewable energy technologies and it will help local authorities to target energy efficiency, enhance energy security and economic growth.
The project is financed by the European Union under the CoMDePprogramme and is focused on implementation of the Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) under the Covenant of Mayors.
The project is implementedwith the financial support of the European Union, while Rustavi City Municipality contributes 20.06% of the total project budget.
